Member Rules & Charter

These principles underpin every operational rule. Honour them, and the Cartel will stand firmly behind you.

Presence

Be present when it matters. Consistent activity keeps the faction dependable.

Discretion

Keep faction business private. Sharing internal messages, screenshots or strategy may result in removal.

Mutual Aid

Support fellow members when you can, and be willing to ask for help when you need it.

These are faction membership standards. Consistent activity matters, but real life comes first when leadership receives clear private notice in advance.

Daily Activity

Keep your Last Action within 24 hours. Once it exceeds 24 hours without an approved absence, leadership may remove you from the faction.

Planned Absence

If you expect to be away for 24 hours or longer, privately message a leader through Torn chat/mail or Discord DM before leaving and include your expected return. Faction-chat posts do not count because they can quickly be buried.

OC Availability

Accept an OC role only when you can remain available for its displayed planning period. If your plans change, privately contact leadership or the OC coordinator before readiness is affected.

Chain Availability

Opting into a scheduled chain commits you to the announced window and target. Follow leadership calls and the shared five-minute chain timer; tell the chain lead immediately if you must step away.

Notifications

Enable the Torn events and Discord channels you rely on so OC, chain and leadership messages reach you promptly.

Leader Messages

Reply to urgent Torn mail, private chat or Discord messages when possible so leadership can adjust rosters and operations in time.

This section combines current Torn OC 2.0 mechanics with Privé participation policy. Confirm that you can meet the full commitment before accepting a role.

Scenario Tiers

OC 2.0 uses named scenarios from levels 1–10, grouped into Lambda, Sigma, Phi, Psi and Omega spawning tiers. Higher tiers cost more Scope and generally demand stronger role suitability.

Scope Pool

Factions migrating to OC 2.0 start with 25 Scope, can hold 100 and passively regenerate one Scope per day. Successful scenarios can return additional Scope.

Planning Progress

Planning advances through the participants, with each member given up to 24 hours to complete their step. Once every filled role has completed planning, the scenario moves into execution.

Execution Readiness

Execution lasts less than one minute. Throughout it, every participant must be healthy, in Torn rather than travelling, and have every required tool or material available.

Tools and Materials

Items marked Required act as reusable tools; items marked Used are materials consumed by the scenario. Check the item effect rather than relying only on its inventory category.

Roles and Suitability

Take only an assigned or approved role. Role suitability affects the displayed success score, but Torn does not publish a guaranteed pass threshold.

Payout System

Leadership chooses the faction/participant percentage. The participant allocation is split equally; cash can go to wallets or faction balances, while item rewards can be allocated randomly or paid at market value from faction funds.

Member Responsibility

Do not abandon a role silently. If your availability or required items change, privately notify leadership or the OC coordinator as soon as possible.

Your conduct outside the faction reflects on every member. Follow these standards when dealing with other factions, using the market or posting in public channels.

Faction Relations

Leadership manages our relationships with other factions. Do not provoke disputes, negotiate agreements or promise favours on the faction's behalf without approval.

Target Clearance

Obtain approval before hospital sprees, territory raids, high-value bounties or chain hits against ranked allies. One unauthorised attack can invite serious retaliation.

Outside Intervention

Arranging mercenaries or intimidation squads without leadership consent is forbidden. Recruiting outsiders, or threatening to, counts as hostile action.

Torn Rule Compliance

Follow Torn's current game rules at all times. Real-money trading, exchanges for assets or services in other games, account trading or sharing, multiple accounts and exploit abuse are prohibited.

Secure Trading

Use Torn's Trade window or Item Market, check both confirmation screens carefully and retain evidence for deals worth more than $50m.

Public Channels

Slurs, doxxing and real-life threats are prohibited. Keep internal messages, screenshots and strategy out of forums, global chat and other public channels.

Harassment

Light-hearted banter is welcome; stalking, repeated unwanted messages and intimidation are not. Save relevant evidence and report concerns privately to leadership.

Deal Standard

Although Torn permits ordinary scamming as gameplay, Privé Cartel does not. Honour every agreed price, split, service and repayment, whether dealing with a member or an outsider.

Buy-Mugging

Buy-mugging is permitted unless leadership has restricted the target or a no-mug agreement formed part of the transaction. Any agreed terms remain binding.

We build each other up through guidance, generosity and shared knowledge. Lean in, ask questions and give back.

Mentoring

New arrivals can request a mentor for builds, routes and revenue strategies.

Resource Pool

Contribute spare medical items, weapons, armour or other useful supplies when leadership requests them and you are able.

Armoury Stewardship

Borrow faction equipment only for its intended purpose, return it promptly and never sell, transfer or retain shared resources without permission.

Knowledge Sharing

Post patch-note finds, economy tips and smart-play advice so the entire faction stays ahead.

Avoid unnecessary conflict and protect the faction's energy and respect. Take part in organised action only when leadership calls for it.

Peace-First Stance

We prioritise profit and preservation over conquest.

Authorised Action

Do not start raids, retaliation campaigns or repeated attacks in the faction's name without leadership approval. Random hits also spend energy better reserved for training and coordinated events.

No Selling Losses

Selling losses means accepting payment or other value to attack another player and deliberately lose. Privé Cartel members may not sell losses: each attempt consumes 25 energy and can add hospital time and medical cooldown, diverting resources from battle-stat training, chains and faction operations. Short-term personal profit does not outweigh long-term combat growth and readiness for the team.

Respect Protection

When an opponent gains respect by attacking a faction member, our faction loses 25% of the amount they gained. Repeated losses can reduce respect available for active special branches and future upgrades.

Defensive Calls

When leadership requests defensive hits, revives or other support, follow the named target and timing instructions rather than acting independently.
