Userscripts are small programs that modify page layouts, add or remove features, and automate actions to personalize your web experience—installing them lets you tailor Torn (and any site) exactly to your needs.

Step 1 — Add Tampermonkey

Install steps:

Tap your browser button below.
Click “Add extension” / “Add to Firefox.”
Pin the TM icon for quick access.

Step 2 — Browse the gallery

Power-user tips for GreasyFork:

Check rating & install count (social proof).
Prefer scripts updated in the last year.
Peek at Feedback tab for unresolved bugs.
Search terms: revive, egg, stats, timer.

Open GreasyFork

Step 3 — Install a script

Standard flow:

Tap “Install this script” on GreasyFork.
Tampermonkey preview opens showing the code.
Click Install — tab closes automatically.

⚠️ Red warning banner? The script may be obsolete—check last update date & comments.

Step 4 — Enable & verify

🟢 Green toggle = script active.
🛠️ Dropdown ▼ gives options: edit, check updates.
💡 Refresh Torn to load script UI changes.

Step 5 — Manage scripts

Disable temporarily	Dashboard → click green toggle
Force update	Dashboard → ▼ → Check updates
Edit code	Dashboard → click script title
Remove script	Dashboard → 🗑 icon

Tip: back-up your script list via Utilities › Export Zip before experimenting.

FAQ / Troubleshooting

Script won’t install

Ensure Tampermonkey is enabled & not blocked. In Chrome: chrome://extensions → Details → Site access → “On all sites.”

No changes after install

Refresh Torn tab—scripts run on load.
Confirm you’re on https://www.torn.com.
Verify toggle is green in TM dashboard.

Update failed / Red banner

GreasyFork may be rate-limited. Wait or install from the script’s GitHub raw URL via Utilities › Install from URL.

Scripts clash / duplicate UI

Disable overlapping scripts.
Reorder in dashboard—top run first.
Check console (F12 › Console) for errors.

Reset everything

Remove Tampermonkey extension.
Reinstall from store.
Import backup ZIP via Utilities › Restore.

Is using scripts bannable?

Torn allows QOL scripts that don’t automate gameplay. Avoid auto-clickers or bots.
